IGS Palakkad Chapter
The IGS Palakkad Chapter is a local chapter of the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS), established in 2024. The chapter was officially inaugurated on April 10th, 2024, at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad.
The IGS Palakkad Chapter aims to create a vibrant community of professionals and enthusiasts in the field of geotechnical engineering by organizing events, workshops, and conferences that facilitate the exchange of ideas and the latest advancements in the field. It also seeks to provide a forum for addressing local challenges in geotechnical engineering while promoting innovation and best practices.
Through its activities, the chapter strives to contribute to the development of the geotechnical profession and support the continued growth of expertise in geotechnical engineering.
